GAME WEEK: Lightning vs Outlaws

Redmond, OR – The wait is over. The Oregon Lightning are ready to electrify the arena as we charge into Week 1 of the 2025 season. In our highly anticipated season opener, we face our toughest test right out of the gate—taking on the 2024 defending Arena Football champions, the Billings Outlaws.

The Outlaws enter the season looking to defend their title, but the Lightning are storming into the league with something to prove. With a revamped roster, explosive talent, and a hunger to make a statement, Oregon is prepared to show the arena football world that we are a force to be reckoned with.

“Our team has been putting in the work all off season, and we’re ready to compete at the highest level,” said Head Coach Jones. “We respect what Billings accomplished last season, but this is a new year. We’re coming out fast, we’re coming out aggressive, and we’re coming to win.”

The Lightning’s debut game will take place at the First Interstate Bank Arena in Redmond on March 15th, with kickoff set for 6:30pm. Fans can expect an electrifying atmosphere, hard-hitting action, and a team determined to bring the thunder in its first match up of the season.
